Snapped the front passenger driveshaft Wed night at the dragstrip. Unfortunately, didn't get home untill about 2-2:30am after having to get the car towed home 100km. Even with RACQ free 50km towing, it still cost me another $250 to get it home. Now, I know of someone that makes billet driveshafts and I would normally lean towards upgrading the weakest link in the car. But, being Xmas, Santa ain't gonna have something in his sack worth that much. I've heard chinese whispers mention of there being two different sized driveshafts. A thin one vs a thicker one. I've measured my shaft (one on the car, not mine you sick fecks) ;) and its 25.3mm. Which one is this???? If its the thinner one, is it possible to use the thicker driveshaft???? Or if it is the thicker one, do I just replace it with another or bite the bullet and get the billet shafts. Cheers J :D
