My martin logans on the other hand are the best at doing anything.
I use em as my PC speakers and holy shit they are awsem
form listening to music at my desk and playing games to watching movies from my bed its just amazing how clean they are
I fully recommend folded ribbon tweeters and electro statics they are totally awsem

yeh its going to waste getting put in a room like mine.
its the fastest sub iv ever heard but very hard to control. Realy need to know what ya doing with ya LFE settings

Yeh iv never realy heard JBL's but i think they use to be good in the day when they were fully american. (dont quote me on that)
took me a while to get martin logans in but it was worth the wait. just wish i had the room do get some Electro statics. My center is the only real thing thats lacking. still good but its the weak link

Yeah I agree, they have changed since they moved to china, luckily mine are US made, i'm happy enough with them in the environment im in.

Very nice mate! just need a little bit more space between your speakers and the walls. I was the same - moved my speakers into a bigger room about a foot and a half away from the closest wall and it really opens them up a lot. Vocals become clearer.

Gotta love a good set of speakers. I'm pretty happy with my B&W setup. What amp are you running there on the bottom shelf? Looks like a Sony maybe?

Yeh as i said im pritty tight for space can do anything about the spacing.
If they where front ported i wouldn't worry as much but being rear ported its a shame.
Im running a Onkyo TX 805 so its fairly old, had it for a while but its never missed a beat.
Ill only upgrade when i get a 4K so it can do the pass through. But that's gonna be a while till i get one so there's no rush. Mostly use Pure audio, Im stating to like the THX cinema feature. starting to get some good sounds but only with movies.
Not sure what unit i wana go with next but was thinking of a bryston unit but unsure if it will do what i need it to do. Was looking at getting some B&W's but no one had em in stock for an audition. Soon as i heard the Martins i just loved em from the get go. Just love that ribbon tweeter makes so much difference. waiting for em to have em in cars but haven't seen em yet.
But yeh even though i don't quite have the appropriate setting for my system, still demolishes any PC speaker set. My previous setup was a set of Tannoy FX 5.1 which was more of a PC speaker setup. still sounded good but had no punch.
