Hi guys,

Ive got a 06 3.0RB, the other day one of the pulleys bearing gave up the ghost and spat the belt off, its not the tension adjuster, its the other 'free spinner'

ive looked around and are struggling to find them online, any one know where to go?

cheers

It may be a bit sucky. But, Ring up the parts department of your local dealership, Give them the VIN and buy a new one.

It will be $60-70 tops. Seen this on another 30R last month. It's starting to get common.

Good luck!

Edit: It's also possible to press out the bearing from the old pulley. I was quoted $50 for a bearing. Stuff that.

Hey,

All sorted,

i went and seen these guys, http://www.generalbearing.com.au/ really helpfull.

part number EP001, made by 'NULINE' its from a SAAB but the suby 3.0 wasnt in his book. its the same size anyway, it think only 2mm larger OD

cost, $35 for both pulleys and half hour to install pulleys and belt. went for long drive then rechecked pulley bolts.

Laughing

It is very common with these motors getting on in age.

Quite a few of us on club liberty have had the issue myself included.

Just make sure there is no further damage from the belt coming off. I had a pulley bracket bend and it had worn through a plug as well.
