What are you saying about Frank's weight? :|

I would have gone to the kitchen, collected a brown bag, dropped my dacks, pinched off a loaf in said bag, done up dacks, stickytaped bag, placed bag in envelope, and mailed it right to your face for being such a tool.

It's ok, sometimes when we herp, we also derp.

May be able to squeeze a 12.5 pass out of it but that's all 220kw is good for in a B4. Not much heavier than what my old wrx was and people running around 220kw were pulling 12.3-12.5 at best. Sound slow these days but any car that can run mid 12's is bloody quick imo. For the street anyhow

Yeah it's quick but I'd expect a 2.5 with a big turbo & Motec to be pulling low 12's, must be a pretty safe tune. Wish I'd taken my tow bar off lol, might have been that poofteenth quicker.................as soon as I hit a 12, even if it's a 12.99999 I'll be happy, I've only spent a couple of hundred bucks on mods (apart from zorst) so I can't complain as I said I'd be happy if it broke a 14 when I built it.

60 ft was 1.986, best for the night was a 1.907. Doesn't matter what I try I can't get it any lower, tyres were down to 27lb, no wheel spin, no clutch slip, usually I blip the throttle up pretty high then dump clutch & drop foot at the same time, gets a perfect launch every time, I tried holding it at about 7g & dumping it but I just got wheel spin & a 2.3. After the first 2 runs the second being a 13.100 with an identical trap speed of 167.24 I think I tried too hard to hit the magic 12 & just got worse but everyone else seemed to be doing the same so it could have been the change in track temp, went from 42 on the first run down to 29 by the end of the night & humidity went from 55% to 71%. Looking over the best times from the last time I was down there I think the wind may have had something to do with it too, earlier in the year it was WNW at 7 knots, virtually side on, this time it was SW at 14 knots which is virtually head on & last time I hit 169.3 over the line. Just checked, 14 Knots is 26kph, that's gotta make a huge difference compared to virtually nothing.........DAMN THAT WIND!!!!!

interesting results. so do you shift into fifth or not quite? if your hitting a 167 means i wont have to change into fifth :D damn short ratios currently with the rx's limit when on the strip i need to change to fifth at 160. new motor will be different!

Well done d-gen. Matt's turbo is an APS Ss45 not Sr.
As Tony Montana would say:

Then when you get the money, you get the power.
Then when you get the power, then you get the women.

Nah nowhere near hitting 5th, only doing about 6,700 I think, I've hit the 180kph speed limiter in 4th, gotta love the 4.44's.

This was in 4th

This in 5th, of course these were take on a private road ;) Oh & for those who think the gauges look a little odd they are out of the V3 front cut. :) Gotta get around to putting the 260kph speedo in one day too.

O i c....

I just found the thread from his ozlib posts but he obviously went different.

I managed to score an awesome set of dumps off him when he converted from the twins to single. :)

Ugh i could ramble on for forking days about this stuff.

And Franks best time is a 13.5 however, he's too scared (I know how expensive it is mate, I understand) to give it some revs on the launch. Franks B4 can easily pull a 12.5. He's also only running small boost and car is making under 200kws.
