Nice!

I really think those wheels which are on in the first (i think), and in the second picture, suit the car and the colour of the car well. What happened to those?

Still on the car.. thinking of plasti dipping them white tho

Just don't plasti-dip them then go on a track day and get brake dust melted into it again! Haha

Car looks pretty good!

Love the attitude on this forum. Centre diff blown, no worries! Put in an sti engine!

I like to think of it as borrowing someone's car and driving it better than them.

hey guys been a bit quiet on the forums as of late..

as some of you know i blew second gear just after new yearsIMG_1143_zpsffc77dde.jpgIMG_1142_zps2d2ec4ad.jpg

so i have decided to go down the route of a 6 speed  :D

now the box i have is out of a 2008 liberty gt and requires a little bit of modification in order for me to have a speedo reading. see the gen 4 libs take thire speedo reading from the wheel speed sensors, where as mine is driven by a worm drive located in the gearbox.

so i have had to seperate the front diff and bellhousing away from the rest of the box and it is currently up in qld in the magical hands of am auto who have a jig to correctly do this speedo drive conversion.

i am also upgrading the rear diff to the bigger and better r180 which side by side to the r160 is massive! IMG_1149_zpsda0cc188.jpg

so while i had the diff out i thought it would be a perfect time to chan ge my broken diff bushes and replace them with some new superpro ones.IMG_1147_zps1435885e.jpg

now becasue the r180 takes bigger driveshafts i have to find myself a pair of 2001-2004 sti rear hubs so that i can bolt up the rear end which turns out quite hard to find!

while i constantly search for the rear hubs and eagerly wait for bellhousing and front diff to return i decided now would be a good time to install my new turbo that ahs been living under my bed for the last 4 months, and also installing my equal length headers.IMG_1249_zpsb9bc92c5.jpgIMG_1253_zps0e27be24.jpgIMG_1257_zpsd571e6bd.jpgIMG_1259_zpsf82871de.jpg

making the up pipe is going to be soo much easier with the gearbox out  :D
