my question is.. if i have short driveshafts, and short trailing arms, will that work pulling the hubs in towards the diff? then i could have wider rear rims to suit??
rims in question and Work Meister S1s which are a 3pce rim. (could even flip the barrels)

Problem Tony is your rear struts mate. Really need to see how much room you have between the rim and the strut. What about changing the offset of them so the inside stays put but the outside heads further out? Head down to Billeau Engineering on Brisbane Rd. I think they are in the next driveway after F1 wheel and tire.
thats what i was thinking Jman. getting new outter barrels, or turning the inner barrel into the outter barrel
