Ok Finally got me B4 running

Installed timing belt kit, all markings are spot on. start it up and engine light wont go away. revs sit at about 2000 rpm.

Work iv done,

Removed Intake manifold to replace broken intake duct.

Replaced Oil and water Pump.

Replaced Timing belt and pully's

Replaced Oil and coolant.

Removed and Cleaned Throtel body

Any ideas?

Im hoping it just something left disconnected

OK its reving at 1500rpm without touching the throttle but if i press it down just a little it starts reving up and down on its own at about 500-1500 rpm.

So im wondering if its any of these

Throttle position sensor
Idle air control solenoid valve
Pressure sensor

Sounds like you might have a vacuum leak, just check if you've left anything disconnected, it'll be a simple fix :)

one thing i can think of was the Throttle position sensor. is there a way in installing it because when i put it back on it dident line up neutral with the shaft so i had to throttle it a bit to get it in the keyway.

Problem solved. Stuck IACV. Taped it with a hammer and problem solved.
