I just put a Turbosmart MBC on the twin and I set it to pull 14psi on the primary. I set it up from loading it up in 4th gear. But when I nail it to get to the secondary I get nothing but VOD. The secondary isn't spooling up like it used to. I plumbed the MBC correctly and blocked off hose 23 but I was wondering if I plumbed hose 23 into the hose that goes from the MBC to the wastegate will it help? Oh and it spikes a bit too. Any ideas?

I must admit it doesn't feel much faster. It spools up quicker but driving isn't as smooth.

Strange. I fitted a gfb mbc to mine. I didn't bother blocking hoses 10 and 23. They're dangling about somewhere dragging along on the road..

In all seriousnes, I have road tuned mine in fourth gear for 16psi. Reduced vod. In all gears. Only thing though, fifth gear on the secondary, no boost cut at 18psi, and what was more concerning, was 20psi was registering on the ecudatascanner..

I'll leave it on for now...

Hmm i thought that the MBC reduced the VOD on mine, actually allowed me to run some decent boost, although I am not sure the car really likes having it on there.

Yes it does.

Quit being a nancy!

Hahahaa.

Saying that, I was driving in the heat yesterday (about 35 degrees) and she pinged around 6500K rpm.

I think we have a different setup as 23 comes off the T to the left guard but 10 goes from the guard to the manifold and nowhere near the turbo or wastegate. I see no way of connecting 23 and 10 on my car.

Hey guys I setup my MBC like in the pic thats on this thread. http://www.ozliberty...hlight=solenoid
It seems to be the wrong way to do it. I will be disconnecting the factory solenoid hoses (10,23) and using my bleed valve in between like Shane showed as 10 goes to the black box (of death).
Thanks guys you helped more in 2 days than I got in 6 months. Legends

As I was looking at the 10 and 23 connectors that come out of the guard I saw with disbelief that 10 was joined to 23 and vice versa. I wasn't me. Now I know why I have had dramas. Stupid goonbag previous modders.
