So I bought aftermarket headers and up pipe which I want to put on this weekend. Few things I need to purchase are some Bungs to fill in the sockets on the up pipe and on the headers where all the pipes join. Anyone know what size they would be?

Also, Up Pipe to turbo gasket, OEM? Or will one from Bursons be right?

Finally, Anyone know what size bolts/nuts are on the studs from the engine and also what size are on the turbo to up pipe? I want to make sure I have everything sorted on Saturday before I pull it all off!

OEM for gaskets or the ones Grimmspeed do.
O2 bung's are all the same, just get them from a decent exhaust shop.
No idea what size nuts, but I'd guess M10 x 1.25 - I'd start soaking all the nuts/bolts in WD40/Rost Off/Inex too.

2002 Outback - it's gone...

Good luck Adam..

you will need to undo the dump pipe to get to all the up-pipe bolts

I used Genunine MLS Gaskets for the Dump and Up Pipes, all others were just the generic type.

I also used a thin smear of Ultra Copper Sealant on the gaskets.

Wrap the Up Pipe for sure.. otherwise say goodbye to a few PowerSteering lines and your Drivers side Valve Cover Seals haha

A Tip i was given was to Wet the Wrap.. this allows you to get it tighter and also stops the fibres from making your life hell for the next 2 days (the shit gets between your fingers and its horrible!)

Haha wrap will be coming later. Just need to fix the exhaust leak for the time being! The doesn't have heat shields as it is, so should be right for now!

Thanks for the tips though! Luckily the dump has been off recently :)
