Now that the question has been answered and the electrical boys are hanging around, is there a solution for fog/spotlights to work with hi-beams instead of lows? I'm guessing they are also negative switched.

There's several on the 'merican Subaru forums.

I like to think of it as borrowing someone's car and driving it better than them.

The point of doing it is?

They should just remain on when the high beam is on anyway.

If I told you I was a compulsive liar, would you believe me?

They way mine have been hooked up is to work with low beams but only when their dedicated switch is on, they cut when hi-beams are flicked, I'd call them spotties because they don't adjust and they point up not at the front corners (factory lights in aftermarket bumper with an ebay switch kit). There is no point having them work with low beams, they are way too bright.

Otherwise I'll wire them to work via the switch regardless of headlights but it's just easier to have them work off the headlight switch.
