The Jets are literally falling apart. 3 of the coaching staff were sacked today and now David Carney, Billy Celeski, Joel Griffiths, Kew Jaliens and Adrian Madaschi have all been given the sack.

 

Not sure if we have even a starting 11 after this news.

What did he do? He's always been a bit of a hothead even when he played for Sydney FC but for it to be terminated for such reasons is pretty serious. Sucks to hear the news Haz, but as the article says, I'm sure it has been done for the best interests of the club. They might spring back next season with some good young talent and a new marquee player may be?

 

I cannot wait for the Asian Cup grand final!

my understanding is the players were going to/did refuse to train in protest against the manager. Carney being a senor squad member was one of the main guys along with captain Jaliens who also got punted

They were going to refuse to train but thag session got cancelled because of bad weather. All the players getting the boot were leading the team against the coach. So with our current numbers the team only has 16 players at the club with current contracts.

Finally he's been slapped with something! I've never liked Berisha. I find him to be a short-tempered, malicious and scummy player.

And so he should. Shit like that is completely unnecessary and appalling behaviour in the game. But Berisha has a serious track record for numerous things, mainly when he was with the Roar. He's a complete dickhead; I seriously cannot stand him, ha ha. I was at the game last season when he was sent off playing for the Roar against Sydney FC; you should've seen the crowd!

 

Come to think of it, he dived as well and tried to milk a red card for a Sydney FC player. He rolled on the floor about seven times, no joke, and stood straight up when the referee showed him the red! Ha ha, wanker.

Yeah he's a fair gronk and deserves anything he gets but there are a lot of wankers on football. he's just another of many. if you do something that gets you sent to the tribunal while "playing a game" then your an idiot, be it violent conduct, inciting the crowd or diving.
