Just thought I'd start another thread on our little place for Subies. One of the best mods I have done to the car: Whiteline steering bushes. 10 minute fit and now the steering is firmer with little or no play and feels stacks better. And cheap too. Its worth it. This advice was brought to me by Cruisn. Winner.

Yeah, it is a great little mod that one. Awesome bang for buck!

Funnily enough, its very often overlooked!

I've been thinking about doing that for a while... What'd it set you back?

I would have gone to the kitchen, collected a brown bag, dropped my dacks, pinched off a loaf in said bag, done up dacks, stickytaped bag, placed bag in envelope, and mailed it right to your face for being such a tool.

It's ok, sometimes when we herp, we also derp.

There are two types of bushes. 25mm and 30mm.

Measure underneath your car at the bushings on the p/s rack.

Tristan. Dunno what yours would be.

Luke: 99% yours will be 30mm

Clickey clickey

Bushes can be sourced from Techworkz

Haha I was about to ask that... Will have to get under there with a ruler tonight. Is it just the one? Don't need one for each side of the car or anything?

There are two bushes. Measure the square one. You'll know when you see it.

Retail for them was $50, trade was $25.

Good mod. I have to give credit to Alex for putting me onto them.
