Can't hold it in a gear Jim?

Broke the toggle switch so it's stuck in  POWWWWWWWERRRRRRRRR mode. Everytime i want to fist it in the gear i'm in, it deems it necessary to kick down one.... infuriating.

So POWWWWEEERRRRRR mode isn't as good as what it's title suggests?

Considered a manual swap?

I have.

My wallet on the other hand....

I miss the free revving of a manual...though, it's nice to be lazy in with the AT sometimes, and STILL blow away newbs.

What sort of money are you looking at for a manual swap? Or do you just go all out and do a 6 speed swap..

Sometimes in traffic I do wish I was in an auto..

I've had boosted cars for a few years now. I love boost. You will always be chasing more when you think you are happy.

At the same time, I love a very high compression engine with a close ratio box behind it. 5th gear from 40kph on a flat surface and it will just keep going.

I guess there two completely different driving experiences too.

Boost is always nice but as you said a high compression engine where there's no lag must be nice too.

I try and drive normally, but then I get frustrated with all the muppets on the road and just end up on WOT for the rest of the journey :P

Somedays. But then I'd get so bored every other day.

True, I'll put up with a manual in traffic for the fun on the weekends.

They really are. As a daily drive, I love the smoothness of it.

I've got plenty of mates with boosted cars that I work on frequently, I get my fix :P

I'll take the 6 banger any day of the week though #fanboi
