We do pre-prod testing on the staging environment, then when they go live, we test on prod to make sure the deployment was successful... when it happened last week when I wasn't here, things got so screwed up and they had to roll everything back...

 

Oh well, looking for bikes.. LOL!

Alright, stupid question, but what is it that you are actually testing?

Basically, software developers aren't all that bright... they work on a small bit of code and plug it into the main system expecting it to work fine, so I test everything from start to finish to make sure their little bit of code didn't screw everything up that was once working fine... LOL!

 

Basically, I do find faults with things... so it is a tester/QA role... make sure what goes out the door is satisfactory, or else, go back and fix it... so when things go bad in productions and customers aren't happy, it is my fault, unless I tell management of the problems and they still decide to release, which happens more often than not.

In regards to bikes, you're such a girl. You don't have to match yourself to your bike. Just match what your wearing with each other and that'll be enough otherwise you'll be spending pointless money in the future if you choose to go for something else.
