NSW Parliament House is in lock-down amid a major security scare on Macquarie Street.
A white car pulled up on to the footpath outside the historic building and police are speaking to the driver.
It is understood police are treating the situation as a potential bomb threat.

We're opening a new smart store (The ones that don't have tellers, just machines that do everything), in a shopping centre where the average age of customers is around 80, and has a low amount of foot traffic. In addition to that, he has put 3 home lenders there, in a place that historically has has the lowest amount of home lending growth out of 654 branches across Australia.

I think things will end badly for this dude at Parliament in Sydney.

Just before 1pm (AEDT) more armed officers in helmets and flak jackets arrived at the scene as police appeared to be negotiating with the man in the white car.
