Yeah... told her I'm going to get a bike, she is very much against it... and yeah... situation with her has been getting kind of better, so don't want to do anything to make it worse too soon... so have to try to convince her that a bike isn't a bad thing... she does have a point, they are dangerous and just about everyone I've spoken to who has ridden a bike has a story of their fall and some scar... LOL!

 

Oh well... I'm not in a hurry to get one now anyway... the more I save, the better bike I can get... right now, only thing that is really in my price range is the ZZR250....

FacePalm Zac...DON'T BUY A PRETEND (250cc 4 stroke L legal) SPORTS (looking)BIKE!!! YOU WILL REGRET IT! 

 

I'm not only referring to the complete lack of any performance at all, but the riding position is all wrong for 'enjoyable' rides longer than about half an hour. Get a sport/tourer style with a bit more of an upright position...so comfort, many rides, much smart, wow.

 

Also, no actual motorcycle owner with an 'open' license think's cbr250rr's or zzr250's look 'cool'.

Yeah.... GS500F would be a nice sports tourer... but got to find a decent one.. and the price... so far only that I might be able to afford in a few weeks time is the yellow one... which could be ok I guess... :)

Honestly, any 1st bike gives you the 'first bike thrill' so think older/cheaper in the short term, leaves more in the kitty for the 2nd bike, which you'll want sooner than you know. Anything Learner Legal in the sport-tourer style from early/mid 90's onwards will suffice...

Thanks pete... but a bright yellow GS500F? Lol!... Oh well, at least people can't say they didn't see me... the bike would shine like the sun... LOL!
