Nice one Mark.

I like the colour combo, the interior has that classy look while the outside is subtle.

Actually kind of getting over all the car stuff.

Am I getting old? Maybe just done too much. :sarcastic:

Hahahaha

You are getting old.

I hear you. I used to be at every show, always working on the cars, keen to get to the next event...

Now....meh.

I image white would not compliment subtle mods like the silver would. Better colour for 'in your face' type mods.

The charcoal dash links the silver exterior to the brown :P interior nicely IMO.

The VW's look good with satin black TD's.

A friend had to get her's powdercoated since VW wouldn't supply them in black with her Sirocco.

Mark,

Its well known my feelings on black rims but it this instance I like it even less.

To me the body colour is a few shades of grey too dark to pull it off, same goes for the badges.

I do however like the idea of the satin finish but If it were mine, I would have gone a lighter silver than the body instead.

Not criticising, I just doesn't appeal to my tastes. (the pics may well not do it justice)

As usual, I'm looking forward to the changes and seeing how this vehicle evolves.

Nice! Need some gloss black mirror covers to finish it off ;)

Hows the donk in this thing go? Pretty punchy?

Jase - This is one time the pic's dont really show the car. The satin gloss against the ridiculously glossy paintwork and black high lights really does work. Im one of those people who's cars look better in the flesh than photo's. Even the mother in law likes the black badge's a lot better!

This may well be the case, I guess final judgement needs to be in the flesh.

Are you calling me old??? :P

Should only be 3 more changes. Exhaust, Brakes, R32 hatch spoiler extension.

Yeah, yeah sure. .... :)

I like it, I have been thinking of doing this to the badges on the GTI. I saw the vinyl wrap and wanted to try it. Was also thinking of doing the front one with some red paint on the inside part. My wife actually wanted a GTI in this colour but same as you the condition of the car comes first.
