Very nice man. It's good to see someone going the opposite way with a Gen IV.

Only thing I don't like is aftermarket front bumper bars....
They surely will be more useful however

keeping the loud bits secret?
Oh yeah I totally forgot! Matt sold me some Hella Supertones. Matte black in colour so you don't see them
I bought them with one thing in mind - blind corners on switchback mountain 4WD tracks. I also scared the shit out of a work colleague which of course is another motivation for a stupidly loud horn!!
That would bug me so much!
Yeah it was a small blip in the manufacturing process which they did not realise until install. I'm not fussed about it all; they're making a full replacement one at the moment with a further modification to give my tyres a bit more breathing space in the event they're fully compressed under load. These are the compromises you have to make when undertaking something as custom as this. Its worth it if you get what you want, and that's exactly what I've got. Couldn't be happier with the outcome, I reckon it looks good enough to be in an ARB catalogue.

Haha, Outboat.
Admiral Shiv of the USS Urabus!
I like to think of it as borrowing someone's car and driving it better than them.

Looks great mate!
I've been contemplating a small bar for the front of mine.

Ideally I'd love one like the gen3 Outback had, wonder if I can retro-fit one

They're excellent.
Had a set on my last Outback and they never let me down. Give a really good ride quality on your typical unsealed country road. I opted for this size because I find it to be a good middle-ground between off-road ability and good on-road manners -- I want both those things! There's also no discernible difference in road noise, which is impressive when going from a standard highway tyre to an all-terrain compound.
Bumpers make the car look hideous, however they are very subtle - so for this, I likey.
Yeah offroad bars aren't usually done with aesthetics as a top priority. When you look at the side on profile shots of the car, they best illustrate the increase in approach and departure angles, and that's what its all about. The benefit of this is I'm going to be able to get further out in the bush where my last car couldn't and I can race up sand dunes without having to dab the brakes at the base of the hill out of fear of smashing the front bar.

I got a set of GT-B seats for from a liberty.asn.au member. These are the ones with the perforated leather and integrated headrests.
They're pretty nice, a bit more supportive than the ones I had. They're both electric and the drivers side has memory settings.
Now all I need is bloody lift kit to finally arrive from the States and this car is ready to do chew through the miles

Love my SPecB Seats.
ALthough mine don;t have the memory functions, the earlier model (04-06) ones are a little more supportive

+1. I've got the SpecB seats although mine don't have the memory functions either. They're comfy as! Good upgrade Shiv.

Nice one Shiv.
I never even noticed that the seats were different. Seems odd that they are, seeing as you get everything else the B Spec cars get.
