Out of curiosity, what did they look like before? Aren't the Outback seats heated?

You can see them in the first post.
If I told you I was a compulsive liar, would you believe me?

Got it.
They are the heated ones in the Outback though aren't they? I guess comfort would be better than a warm backside.

Doubt it.
Where the switch would go is blank. I don't think the AUDM cars got it anyway.

Nah no heat. Warm backside could only come after those 911 wings @ Hooters...!
The GT-B seats are about 10-15% more supportive than stock. Its a nice difference I appreciate as I drive the thing 7-days a week. The stock seats aren't bad. They're just a bit flat in comparison (if I'm to exaggerate).

My parents Accord Euro has heated seats. They make it feel like youve wet yourself imo

Looks good Shiv! Personally, i didn't rate the seats i had in my '07 GT-B. They felt a bit flat and not very supportive when doing enthusiastic driving, just slipped all over the place. To this day, i think the best seats i have had in a Subaru of mine would have to have been the Gen2 GT-B seats.

Fair enough. I don't know where my sources were then.

Ha ha, you can say that again!

Haha mum and dad have heated seats in their cars.
I love it.

I've never sat on a heated seat actually. I can imagine why it'd feel like you've pissed yourself...

Very common game played amongst Mechanics of the prestige brands..
I like to think of it as borrowing someone's car and driving it better than them.

the newer soft leathers that are in use today don;t really need the heaters,
but my old 94 GT Leggy had much harder leather without the perforations, and they used to get icy cold overnight here in Tassie during winter,
2 minutes with the heaters on and you were warm and toasty.
Also nice for cruising on a cold night with the moonroof all the way open, windows down but seat heaters on
the leggy ones also had elements in the back rest to keep your lumbar region nice and warm, really theraputic for a sore back actually

Been a while since I updated this thread...
- Car has been lifted
- Strut brace
- HKS air filter
- Twin Varex mufflers
- LED parkers
- GROM IPD3 module (enables Bluetooth, iPhone/pod connectivity, AUX-in via McIntosh H/U)
- Rear cargo power socket (12v) installed
.

I can't get over how tall this thing is. Nice update man. How much did the GROM IPD3 module set you back? I've been wanting to get an auxiliary port installed on mine but haven't really looked too deep into it.

Fork I love this car!
Soooooo different.
Top marks Shiv.
How does the Grom go using the steering wheel controls? (answering calls, etc)
@Gaz, the AUX in is available from Subaru - plug and play.
