I love watching COPS, so many liars. I actually feel sorry for what the US police dept has to deal with on a daily basis, but they make it hilarious.

I put up with people from amnesty, red cross and now the cancer council almost daily hounding me!! Throw in the greens, green peace, unhcr, save the forking children and I've well and truly hit my limit for the number of fuckstains wanting me to sign something or give money. Seriously cubts, right off.

I don't understand - if you're a tester, why do you need to be there when nothing has been released to Prod yet?

Surely they would just call you in once the release is done? What's the point of sitting around waiting for the appdev's to do their job?

I'll take that as a no. Well fork that. If I was asked to do any sort of over time as extensive as Zac has been coping then I'd ask for payment, otherwise, I'm out.

I don't understand - if you're a tester, why do you need to be there when nothing has been released to Prod yet?

Well there is testing to be done when they push the build to pre-prod, and then once again when it is on prod, incase we need to do a roll back... and in the meantime, we are testing the UAT branch before it even goes to pre-prod, like we've been doing for days, but are still finding bugs, because stuff has regressed...

Are you getting paid for it?

Hellz no.... but getting Pizza for dinner tonight... I'm going to demand half a day tomorrow... but then, there is a BBQ downstairs after work at 5pm tomorrow... and I like BBQ....
