Hi Guys, I really new and was wondering, its a novelty and i haven't been able to find it. Does the Liberty B4 2003 come with heated side mirrors?

Will - The Japanese Domestic Market (JDM) Vehicles (Legacy) came out with them, but no Australian released Subaru ever came out with heated mirrors.


What Jovan was implying, is that you purchased a set second hand, and retrofit the system.

im sure he got the answer that he was looking for. not everyone is stupid as you are implying that they are...

Like what though? - Exhaust - ECU tune - BOV - Lowering - Clutch - Brakes all done.. Get a sway bar setup... thats one thing I always wanted

Front and rear. Rear only is gay. With the front end done the car will be much better. Oh and single turb's..

If you're getting new mirrors at least get Ganador mirrors. They come heated, but like Mark says, you probably won't need them, unless you're a seasonal skier or snowboarder i.e going where it's freezing cold often. A lot of Subaru features are aimed at the Japanese market, like I have a HOLD button in one of mine for snowy conditions, not really needed in QLD.

I'd spend the money replacing those Gawd-Awful Redwalls

Ban stick warming up huh Alex Will if you need any info about these mirrors let me know man, I've got some places I can give you details for too. For now really you're best off trying wreckers, or Ebay (or importmonster.com.au) if you're feeling up for it. EKW in Melbourne are a good sort, not sure if they'll have anything. I don't have much experience with guys in Sydney (ironically) and All Auto is Brissy are good as well (I got my nose cut from them). Should be a wreckers listing in the forums somewhere here man, take a look and do a search.

Just so you know before you purchase new mirrors, if you decide to, this is Ganador, pretty much all look like this, come electric and certain ones come warmed I believe. Not cheap, but if you going to do something, do it properly.

JDM glass is also convexed on both driver's and passenger's sides. Which is handy (but not ADR compliant...)

thats interesting i know some cars have just the passenger side convex but has a warning "warning veichles may appear closer" or something like that. does the jazz have both left and right? also does it have a warning wrote on it in white lettering? my car has both left an right without any warnings...

anyway back onto topic, i think i have seen my heated mirrors work once, they are turned on when you switch on the rear demister

i'm fairly sure the jazz isn't labelled... should be though... f**k me, having convex mirrors makes things closer...

the car can be right next to me and i can still see part of it in the side mirrors... it's crazy...

and RE: OT... i wish i had heated mirrors... the poor beast sleeps on the street every night and most of the time when i wake up in the morning for work i have to grab a rag to wipe down the mirrors, otherwise i can't see jack!

That's no good, if you can't see Jack you might run over him.

But yeah, they have their use, I still think if you go to the expense of replacing mirrors with JDM items you may aswell go the whole hog and get some sexy looking ones.
