How do you get at the bulbs for the big spotlights in the middle?

I would assume you will have to get in the behind via underneath the front bar. Jack the front up to give more room.

That's what I thought but nope. The standard projector fogs are like that but the other ones are confusing

Replaced mine a couple of months ago, cannot remember how I went about it. But, I have the old ones out and will have a look for ya.

why dont you just spend the 10 min to remove the bumper so you can get the back of the light? on my gen3 ive got it down to less than 10min to get the bar off and it has most of the nuts, bolts and clips holding it on.

Ive done this but theres nothing on the back. I think they open from the front but i cant see how they open

They were heavy little units if I recall correctly...

 

I have a feeling you would have to take the metal bracket off in order to access the bulbs, but that's going off some old memory of mine so I may well be wrong. 

 

For whatever its worth, I would consider replacing the lights altogether and getting yourself some fresh replacements. Will enhance the appearance much more and new spotties of that size don't cost too much.
