Anyone know if it's possible to get the internals of the inner joint of a front Subaru B4 drive shaft ?
I'm trying to see weather to rebuild the OEM shaft assembly but been told by my local drive shaft repair shop that you can't buy the internal bearings of these shafts.

I was told by the mechanic to keep the OEM inner because they are a much better quality. He said never chuck out the subaru safts unless they have actual damage.

Once you take the inner boot off, there will be a retaining clip holding the joint on. Use a small flat screw driver to pop it out and then you'll be able to slide the joint off
