Hi All

I am looking to get the rims on the forester changed colour and after much internal discussion and research I have decided to powder coat them, but the problem I have is where to get it done!!!

Does anyone know of somewhere on the Northern Beaches that has a balance between price and quality???

Any direction would be great!!!

THanks in advance

BPC or B+K who are both in Brookvale for coating. Between $240-$340 for a set depending on finish and if you need to do a primer coat

Do you need them repaired or sand blasted as well?

Warringah Aluminium can fix rash + roll out any lip dents from $200 a set depending on the amount of repair required.

Just stumbled across this thread and thought I'd mention for anyone in the Newcastle/Hunter Valley area, there's this place

They sand blasted and powder coated my rims for $85 a rim. Did a really good job! I had it done about 2+ years ago and they still look newly done. Im pretty sure from memory they will do any colour powder coating aswell. They do them in matte, satin or gloss.

They kinda don't have Newcastle mentioned. Did they shut shop there?

I'm interested in doing this for my wheels, not painting them, just fixing up the mad rash on some of them from previous owner

They only do the media blasting there. They send the rims elsewhere to be powder coated. But their blasting work is top notch, and whoever they use to powder coat does a sweet job.

Nope still going strong

Yep that's right. Imperial Blasting sand blasts them for $40/rim and then they send them to the company across the road that powder coats them for (I think) $45/rim. But You just drop them at Imperial Blasting and they organise the rest :)
