Just watched a video on youtube showing how to replace the battery. It doesn't seem hard at all so I will order a battery on ebay and try it myself I reckon.

i used to leave my dslr in the car for moments like that, sorta got over it but. I still enjoyed looking at them photos Ash, thanks for posting them 
i can't even stay under a 4.5gig data limit on my phone LOL but i guess thats the joy of being with telstra and having decent 3/4G coverage

most of the static photos i take are just in 'auto no flash' mode lol.
Then tweak them a little in adobe lightroom. easy peasy

Hmmm that's some thought, I had to take most of those pics without a flash and in HDR mode just to get a decent shot, the 2 pics of the Nascar gives you an idea of the difference between flash and no flash.

Yeah i noticed that
but once it gets too dark i just give up. i did buy a canon speedlite 600ex flash to use, but i haven't bothered to play with it too much

Neither did I Jase, I just saw heaps of cars around here, didn't think much of it, then saw heaps of classics and thought, I need to follow this, then realised where they were going, not realising how fuckin HUGE the meet up was, it literally is the biggest meet I have seen in a long time.
Pretty sure that's the Pantera I took a pic of at the historics last weekend.
Wouldn't surprise me, so many amazing cars. The Lambo countach blew my mind, the sound of that thing was amazing.
