I was just trolling youtube as usual and found an interesting video guide on a installation of a type of turbo on a 2007 subary liberty, can anyone tell me if its fairly accurate.. he makes the installation look dead easy.

For existing single turbo cars, i'd imagine (other than the re-tune) it wouldnt be that hard.
The B4's are a whole different bucket of slop's.
afaik - a single turbo ecu is needed = as many bucks as the new turbo will set you back anyway. no doubt the masses will correct me if im wrong.
...but your right, it did look awful easy and now you've got me thinking also...
*hmm*
Ugh i could ramble on for forking days about this stuff.

Doing a Turbo swap on a factory Single Turbo car is easy (WRX) Take off the exhuast, Up pipe bolts intake, then oil feed lines...
As for converting from TT to T, Its abit more complicated as you need:
WRX exhuast manifold
Turbo
Intake (under manifold)
TMIC pipes (or go FMIC)
Re route PCV lines
Block of secondary Turbo oil feed lines
Dump pipe
Aftermarket ECU and involved Wiring
etc etc...
Its a fair job

I am not certain but I think that the ECU is designed for twins man... I dont think you really could tune it for a singe?

The video looks easy enough to do, but without a hoist and all the tools it will be hard. also he never did say how long it took him in labour or did i miss that?

at the start i think he mentioned somewhere in the ball park of 6 hours

I been in Dylan's broke white RS Rex wanna be and a SILVER WRX packing a VF34. Neck breaking action.!
I don't like the next breaking action. I just want to be pressing the ACC and feel the smooth power delivery.

Alex - the VOD in Will's B4 ain't that bad to be honest, no violent change over and it's quite a nice car to drive around.
Although there really is no comparison to that wind up SUCKED IN TO SEAT feeling of a nice big fat single.
