Its very bad to cut the spring. If you want low without coils just get super lows for the time being or something. Better off just leaving it and saving for coilovers. BC coilovers are like $1200 and are very good

Apologies. Just that "chopping springs" is generally frowned upon.

Either get them reset, or just wait it out until you can buy coil overs.

Yeah nah. Don't do it.

if you can't afford to do it properly yet, then wait til you can. You'll just be ruining a perfectly good set of springs by heating them up.

you're not going to have any suspension travel left.
The struts aren't designed to operate that low and you'll have them sitting on the bump stops almost all the time. and shag the struts in no time.
you "can" open up the struts and shorten the inner bump stops on the fronts and cut down the bump stops on the rear arms, but that's ghetto.

My car has the tuned by sti billies and STi pink springs in it
the rear is the same height as the stock billies and black springs, and the front is 8-10mm lower than the stock billies>

At that height it's verging on impractical
you can only just get it to nose over the concrete wheel stoppers (you do hit the sump/ undertray on them)

May as well sell your Lib, buy a Commo and get some hectic super low with the butt sag.

I like to think of it as borrowing someone's car and driving it better than them.

Just put some hose clamps between the coils and tighten them up till you got the right height. Then buy the expensive racing coilovers because they will come in handy for all the track days you do.

Buy some entry level BC V1's, Install them, Set to the exact height you want and enjoy the way the boat handles now.

Contact the lads at Ichiban and get a quote. Awesome coilovers.
