Hi,

I'll let the rubber nuts weigh in, but the idea is to get as close to original rolling diameter as possible.

Cheers,

Nik

6.4% difference in rolling diameter which is unroadworthy and will put your actual speed way under the speedo reading.

Alright mate. After doing a bit of research I reckon you if you want 17" wheels the best size to get tyre to get would be a 215 55 17. That will keep the diameter and circumference almost identical to stock. The speedo will only be out by -0.04% which is nothing

Well the speedo will be out. I doubt a cop would pick up on them for a defect but the tyre profile is way to low. It would look pretty damn weird lol. Personally I would either buy someone elses wheels or get them and put the correct tyres on them and sell the 215/45/17's and try to make some money back.

It's a very common size so it shouldn't take long to sell them.

Speedo when it says your doing 100, you'll actually be doing about 93.

You can run them no drama's til worn then go to the 215/55/17.
