Hey now, I don't explain everything I do. I just post about what I think other people would be interested in too.

 

Where is it and what is it doing?

 

It's at ICHIban. It's getting a service, front timing cover reseal, front crank seal, rocker cover gaskets replaced, oil cooler O-ring, two new front wheel hubs, pulley bearings replaced and another seal replaced (can't think of the name of it at the moment). Two days work and the price is just under $2,000.

 

Oh and I replaced the power steering pump with a refurbished OEM one as well. That one set me back $364 which isn't bad at all.

I'm tired of using my phone as a GPS, google maps eats into my 250mb data limit, so looking for something simple that works, to just throw in the glove box

 

Get with the times! I have 3.5gb of data. Also Samsung Navigon is awesome.

 

 

In zacing about weather i should take the maloo to HSV to get servicing and stuff done, or DIY.

Ive always diy'd to save money and it can be rewarding doing stuff yourself. But money isnt really an issue now, And its certainly not rewarding. But i think of how much i could save

I want a new headunit for it, one with a gps and bluetooth audio streaming etc Alpine make a nice set up (alpine ine-z928ei) but its $2500+ install, and i want tie down rails but they are $700+ install

 

I have a friend who can help with sound system stuff!

Also get a Pioneer headunit, their new range is way ahead of the rest at the moment and better priced.

 

 

If I keep this up I'll have a kid soon
