Nope. Just have to change the region to the US, make sure unblock-us ip's are set and reboot it. You MIGHT need to do a factory reset once the region has changed but you shouldn't need to.

You also need a Hulu Plus account to use the app, the freebie Hulu account won't work. Honestly - unless you have a really good internet connection I wouldn't bother with Hulu Plus, i've read a number of people have issues (including me) with Hulu freezing/buffering for no reason at all. I can watch 5 episodes of whatever on my laptop but try and play one on the WDTV and it has to rebuffer 5-6 times during a 22 min show and changing the quality makes no difference.

There is good shit on Hulu, but use your computer or laptop.
