As far as a place goes to work I enjoy it Ash, not as much as I do at Carsales but I have it farking sweet there so pretty hard to compare. I just use bunnings now as forced savings, that's why I salary sacrifice there for Wesfarmers shares, means I can't irresponsibly spend that cash works out sweet, plus they give you $1000 worth a year for free, which isn't much but it is the thought

I call myself a mechanical fitter. Its the modern name for a fitter and turner. Im trying to just stick to steam turbines/generators and the control valve systems. So one day i can say i specialise in it.

My cousin was a blind welder (not literally that he was blind ) worked a fair bit on the shutdowns around the hunter then went out to the Pluto gas project in WA, was getting farking awesome cash doing that.
