You sure that's a T50 + bit? The 'splines' look too small in the pictures.

Put the bit in the head, hit it with a hammer then use a rattle gun.

If that doesn't work (and the heads didn't strip), try abit of heat and then do the above again.

If that doesn't work weld or the heads are stripped, weld a bolt onto the head of the T50 and undo it like that.

smash the bolts on the head as hard as you can with a copper hammer a couple of times, the shock helps ... then use an impact driver coupled with the hardened torx bit.

I would do as above.

Unless you use a quality impact rated socket and are careful with the rattle gun,you risk rounding the inside of the hole.

An impact driver has less risk of stripping the holes and, as above, the shock helps.

You can separate the DMF by removing the circlip in the center and prizing the clutch side off.

Once these bolts are rounded only option is to drill them out or weld a head on. Do not try with a torx 50 bit. Once it slips once or twice your doomed even with the right tools. Get your hands on a torx50+ tool. Can be hqad for <$15 and get a 3/4drive rattle gun ( I used electric, air would also be fine I assume).

Get your hands on a torx50+ tool. Can be had for <$15. Then get a 3/4 drive rattle gun. I used electric but air would do the same job. Seat the tool correctly few taps with hammer, and put all available pressure on gun and tool to keep it seated correctly and prevent stripping the head. If you do happen to strip the head, remove engine from car, grind off parts off dmf around stripped head for better access, drill centre of boot out with 4mm drill, ( do not drill too far through the bolt into the engine!!!) And then hit with chisel and hammer, should just undo once pressure is released. Learnt the hard way mate. Get the correct tool for the job before going any further.

I used a company called rocket tools to get me the part. Cost $14. Then used a 3/4 rattle gun as 1/2inch was not powerful enough. Do not use the incorrect tools as life will be hell.

Ring that company. Ask fot the tool used to remove dmf on a subaru. They may be able to post it to you. That is where I sourced mine from. Although I have a local dealer.

I had to use the oxy on my forest once after breaking a torx socket. Heated the head of the bolt up red hot as quick as possibly, then I could undone them almost with my fingers!

Didn't damage the rear main seal too! Bonus!
