So I re did all the earthing connections and re did the battery wires as well and I then check and the main fuse was dead and lucky me I had a spare! And I turned the key and I have lights on the dash and the fuel pump is whiring and all the other good noises but I want to check everything before I turn it over and I will also top up the fluids as well :) So things are looking up

Ive been caught out by cheeky fuses blowing a few times. Glad to hear its something simple!

Good thing you had a spare man, they are not cheap to replace. Thought it might have been something like that. Hopefully it all goes without a hitch from here on in.

MY00 Red RX, a nice daily that was sold off once the B4 became reliable...
MY02 Blue B4, aka 'The Project' - v8 JDM STi engine package and assorted other 'goodies' - Sold, then bought back for parts. Stripped and crushed.
MY03 Blue RX, the newer old daily, pretty well more B4 than RX now... In the process of being converted to the track toy... Watch this space!
MY02 Silver Wagon, H6 conversion, full blue/black leather and almost full black interior to go with it.
MY03 White/Silver H6 Outback, donor car for silver waghoon.
MY97 Silver RX, acquired to become track car, but plans changed. To be stripped and scrapped in time.

The car won't start and I have checked all the fuses and connections! The fuel pump starts and so does everything on the dash and when I try to start the car the check engine light is one and so is the oil light but it does not even attempt to turn over so I'm not sure what to do next????

From memory, line #10 runs across the manifold to the passenger side and tees into a line attatched to the intake tube, just in-front of where the BOV vents back. There should be a stack there with another line that goes into the passenger inner guard. Hose #23, is the line that goes to the boost control solenoid in the inner guard, starts at the primary turbo.

Jump the starter motor just to see if it cranks over, also is possible that the starter has died

No idea on the code but glad to hear it's working again. Try looking in the big TT thread

Check the plug at the bottom and swap the hoses around, clean it out with UEC too.

Sounds like it needs some upper engine cleaner or the idle valve needs a clean as well

Sounds like it's not firing all cylinders.

Check the injector plugs. Sometimes they just aren't clipped on correctly

I shall go check that in the morning and it has a shudder when at certain speeds but when I change it down a gear it goes away?

Was the 02 sensor the cause of your problem? And I think the car is not boosting properly cause it makes a swoosh sound when the boost is building like it is escaping?
