As a tuner, I am interested in the tuning experience of others.

What do you think of tuning?

What level of support do you look forward?

These are just a questions that pops up often and more, but it would be interested to see the community thoughts.

Level of support that I look for/ward? Knowing what can be done with what model ECU's. I have a 2003 MY03 2.5 SOHC 5psd outback (only has 1 O2 sensor) and have not found if the ecu is tunable. Looking to rebuild an engine fairly soon and hopefully find some mild cams for it (would be great if it could be tuned to suit those cams).

I think tuning is a crime of passion, or maybe a labour of love. Either way it furiates and excites me. I think most questions can be answered on here, and if not, you can get a few ideas to use in the process of elimination to pin point a problem.

I would just like to bump this as a thanks to Ed.

This man can tune and is freak of nature with the ecu's on these cars.

I'm currently tuning/ecu tweaking with his help. His customer service is brilliant, I don't think he sleeps.

Thanks again! One happy customer so far.

Hi Xtremetuning,

I do a fair amount of mods to my car. And I'm constantly looking at changing the setup. For an ecu tuner I would like to know the turn around time for the the modifications post data capture.

I'd also like to know what type of software can read your maps. Will they be locked. These are important aspects.

I would like to know recommendations as well, eg what has been done to the car and where abouts the usual settings of these types takes you.

Some little things from me.

Cheers,

Will
