hmm I got rid of my restrictor pill when i installed the EBC last week, it has a 3 port solenoid and vents to atmo. (manual said to do this)

boost is very good with that, i just blocked off the old intake lines and boost solenoid.

But it doesn't bleed off does it? Doesn't it just open and shut to keep the wastegate shut under boost (open valve) and shut to reduce boost (shut valve) I know obviously it opens and shuts several times a second under boost, but there is only one valve, it can't vent and receive pressure at the same time can it?

All I know is my car seems better with the pill. I would love to do 3 dyno runs with it out and 3 with it in and nut this one out

I got a restrictor pill made up the other day and put it in today. It has solved my boost issue. I am using a greddy profec ebc which has 3 ports, but the manual only says to hook 2 up.

It has made my car much more responsive and boost higher and harder.

I only have a single Turbo, but it just goes between the boost controller and before the tee that goes to both actuators

Shit. Sorry man. It's just the line that connects to the Turbo outlet. Before it tees off. So the hose that connects to the nipple on the boost side of the Turbo. There may be a yellow painted section indicating it's location.

Anyone know what size the wrx 09-13 restrictor pills are and how many there are?
