Hi Guys, I been having some problems with my park lights and fog lights lately... i think i buggered it up while trying to fix 1 fog light. Anyhow i thought i might as well get some OMFG BRIGHT foglights while i was at it.. I just realised i had no idea how to install it. Before i rip the front bar off is there an easy way to do it? Cheers Will C

Find some thin strips of metal to put behind the plastic, drill appropriat holes and put the self tapper through the plastic and the metal.

Easy was off doing it is loose the cover around the spot light and then undo the splash cover just under the bar as well, then undo the 2 screws that hold the spotlight in and then pull it out from the bar, also unplug the wire to the sport light.... ' STI LIB easy way to loose those screws get a knife and then slowly push between the screw and the plastic bit and will pop out, Good Luck or if u boys need more info i can take my sporties out as im going to paint my bonnet and guards might as well do the front bar again...so i can do some pictures of removal etc....

I got it done but it felt extreme dodgy style and i lost 2 little clips that hung on the light.. no idea what they were for .. but none the less easy to replace. I'm still trying to work out the DSLR but i have a feeling i'm going to replace again soon. Anyone have a good recommendation for a replacement bulb? i'm looking for something thats ACTUAL 4500K i don't really want another 2 ballasts in the baby as shes already heavy enough. Also i want to keep it neat and clean so just a WHITE replacement bulb.

I was considering this

LINK TO A *CLAIMED WHITE BULB*

Does anyone have any input into these bulbs?

Cheers DRIVER,ill give the knife trick a go!...if they break ill just replace like soop was getting at... Im tired of looking at the hid boxes and being baffled by plastic screws lol?? :dash2: Willc, what car have you got??? Those lights you linked (IMO) will never look a true white...the weight of two ballast wont add that much difference will it??? well worth the "little" bit of added weight i reckon......but as said thats my opinion??

I get a flicker once in a blue moon now... well once in a while .. playing with it fixes it after that, i'm going to leave it like that for a but until i need to get a new one. I'm just trying to get the parker lights and fogs sorted now. I'm looking for maybe a yellow light for fogs.. i just realised its the fogs and if i use a bright white one... it will do SFA
