Looking to upgrade the TMIC on my 01 GTB legacy, was wondering what's a more cost effective solution. Source a sti top mount or go down the path of a Process West top mount?

P west or Fmic
Too much hassle trying to fit an STi.
Tim has a P west and rates it highly.

*Hyperflow. They don't make a P west to suit anymore.
Didn't I read somewhere that hyperflow went out of business so you may have to find someone with some stock sooner rather than later.

Ah right, will have to look into a Hyperflow then.
How difficult is it to go down the fmic road?

I've always been keen to fit a process west, but it wouldn't be straightforward due to size restrictions in the engine bay and requiring some custom pre-cooler pipe work. With the headache that the current intercooler is to fit/remove I'm not sure that it would be worth the hassle.
Stock intercooler is pretty good anyway. You'd have to be doing some pretty serious modding of the TT to need to upgrade.

Haven't got massive mods planned for the TT but figured a better flowing top mount wouldn't be a bad place to start?
But yeah there's unfortunately not a great deal of space left in the engine bay of the TT

I've looked into it, and the $$ to reward ratio isn't there if you aren't going any bigger/better with anything else.
The factory TMIC flows fine for our daily mild inducing smiles.

Probably should start a build thread for my car but anyway.
Currently it's just got custom dumps and a 3 inch exhaust the whole way through.
Only other plans is get what needs to be mechanically fixed so it's 100%. Then looking at running brembos eventually and also to get a tune.
Outside of that no major plans for power as it is my daily so can't really have things going bang.
