Just random guys, but while chasing pricing to get the Foz shipped down from NSW i stumbled upon a site that has a pretty good thing going on.

Basically the deal is you throw up a request (free) and the drivers check the site and pick jobs that suit them.

they call you direct (I've had a few calls already)

 

I got a call this morning from a Guy that does Newcastle to Melbourne 2x a week with his truck, with a guy in Newy that has a flat bed to pickup from street addresses.

 

He's got a depot near me and the good thing is.. I can load the car up when its moved down (Normal car carriers wont ship cars with anything in them?)

 

so i can get all my parts down at the same time.

 

Thought it might be usefull for someone one day to post this up..

 

 

For everything else i just use E-Go couriers.

 

 

P.S. if anyone needs anything sent down next week let me know.. you can load the foz up

yeah i had originally been told $350 by one company.. i called them today.. they told me "oh that was a special they did once, its normally $780 Depot to Depot"

 

and i had to have the car empty.. i was like what about some things in the boot.. Nope, car will be inspected and extra fees apply if it is loaded with anything..

So i searched around, got a call and decided on this guy..
$500 from door to Depot (because i live kinda rural and he cant get his truck through here)
