Hey guys I have a 98 gen 2 and I'm getting anywhere from 400-500kms out of a tank with regular unleaded and the same with 95 or 98

What sort of fuel consumption should I be getting, I feel like I'm going through way too much

Putting in roughly 50 litres each fill, it's a 60 litre tank right?

Nah that's about standard with most Subaru's.. sorry to say!

One doesn't drive a boxer engine for its economy...

I like to think of it as borrowing someone's car and driving it better than them.

Gen2 2.5 manual 4.44 and I always get about 9.5L/100kms combined. I only ever fill up with 98 or 100 just because.

Gen 2 ej22 gets about 650km to 53litres. On my last check. So can get over 700km from a tank if I push it.

Thats over 10L per 100km's.

Best way to accurately measure it is to fill up to the top, reset meter to 0kms, drive til the fuel light comes on or round abouts and fill to the very top again.

Measure amount of fuel it took to fill up against kms driven.

eg. 494kms travelled and 51L to fill up. Divide kms by 100 first. 51 divided by 4.94 = 10.32L/100kms
