LOL. Reminds me off when U-Shell(callum) did this to his Gen3 RX.

 

Theres absolutely NO benefits of doing that.

 

Just means it sucks in all the warm air from the engine bay and makes engine noise even louder.

 

Try it if you want but youll just end up with the standard air box back on.

Someone did it..soop maybe..to his gen2 with a scoop and it still made the car worse

The resonance box (if fitted) is there for a reason.

 

There were some tests done on a 3.0H6 over at .asn, the results showed that removing the resonance box decreased power.

 

 

I'd leave it..
