I reckon Australia played well. Many chances and Chile were getting slower and sloppy. It's so unfortunate that we couldn't at least get a draw with them. Australia definitely aren't as bad as everyone seems to think. Have faith.

After the Dutch performance against Spain, hell no. Against Spain, most likely not. However we have seen how the Aussies have played now and they do have some pretty quick and skilled young players. If they can keep up the pressure and walk into the game with their heads held high, we may just have a chance. The initial fear and nervousness they experienced in the first 20 minutes against Chile was expected. But that's past now. They know they can get great crosses in and they know they can convert those chances. Australia play differently to nearly every other team in the tournament so it will be interesting to watch. They did well shutting down the key players too, I found there to be two and even sometimes three Aussies around the likes of Sánchez, Vidal, Valdívia and Vargas.

 

The main factor is not giving Spain and the Netherlands space and time. If we do that, we'll cope it.
