Gen 2 liberty when travelling at low speeds (taking off and slowing down at lights, moving in heavy traffic) brakes are really squeeky, no problems with brakes otherwise, fairly new only about 2000kms
Any help with what could be causing this plus how to fix it? Thanks
Car is auto if that changes anything

What brand are the pads?

Cheaper brake pads will do this. A glazed rotor will also do this.

Try applying a small amount, and I mean small amount of copper grease o the leading edge of the pad backing plate.

Its the bit that sits in the caliper bracket that transfers the braking effort of the pad into the bracket. If you pull the pads out, you may see this area of the backing plate is polished from vibration that you hear as a squeak.

Some anti squeal on the back of the pad couldn't hurt either.

Actually, i just slapped in some Bendix Ultimate's and i get squeaky times when they're cold and very low speed. Consensus says new rotors? I reckon the ones on the car are the originals as they look pretty crusty behind and in the venting.
