I have not experienced something as extensive as you, but I do share the same love for my car!

They sure are, but I guess it just depends whether you want to customise your car that one bit further or not. Getting plates to match my colour scheme wasn't good enough for me. :P

Hah so you can chose the colour scheme of your plates then or...?

Buuuut... Since I didn´t have too much trouble deciding wich I liked better, wingless or stock wing... I accidently bought another wing just too make it even harder for me  :dash2: Anyway... I like it :) It's a STi replica.

I'm a fan of the STI wing. I've always been a lover of GC8 STI's!

You sure can. There is quite a variety available here. If you're curious, go to www.myplates.com.au and have a look.

I'm not a huge fan of spoilers/wings, but I do like this one. I liked the clean minimalist approach without the wing as well though. It just made your car a little more unique. ;)

Wanting to buy/looking for: single genuine STi rim, genuine STi front lip, Corazon or Zero/Sports grille and another OEM grille

Can you hook a brother up? Please contact me now. I have cash ready.

Nice resto job. GC8 is the only WRX to own IMO. Iceland = low intake air temps = :D

Thanks man, the GC's are amazing! I think I could never let it go, I would love to own a hawkeye but I can't even think of trading my GC :)

This plate thingy is awesome! So many options, we only get blue on white here in iceland. But man are those plates expensive! Here you buy the plates and get them for three years and then you have to pay for them again to confirm for another three years. And it's still less expensive than your plates, at least the most expensive onces :)

Thanks man! And good thinking on the intake temps hah, never thought of it that way :D

In our state, number plates are particularly expensive. In other parts of Australia it isn't as bad.

The most expensive ones are AUD$400 a year (43,385 ISK)

The standard ones aren't as bad though. I have a set on both my cars and it's only AUD$99 per year (10,737.79 ISK)

Yeah I still find them a bit expensive since you have to pay yearly... But anyway, more pics with the new wing :) I like it better in person tho. The lack of some real pics is because I lost my licence two months ago so I can't take it anywhere to get some good shots... :/

I only pay this amount for mine as well, per year.

A little update I guess, haven't posted in a while... I got amber corners, which I love! And I also got a free hawkeye STi lip that needs to be repaired but since its missing a piece and its made out of polyurathane which I can´t seem to find anywhere I haven't been able to repair it yet...

Anyway took some pics :)

I prefer the previous lenses you had, but each to their own man. This is an awesome specimen.

Hey guys, a little update for you :) I am doing some changes this winter which include front mount intercooler, reverse intake manifold, no name 20G china made turbo (don't judge, I am curious as of how it will turn out), 720cc JECS/Fiveo injectors, Walbro 255 fuel pump and a Megasquirt II standalone. Hopefully it will all be finished by summer, here are some pics :)

Apperantly my old turbo wasn't in such a good state, although it worked fine...

FMIC looks tidy mate.

I had a china spec TD-05 20G that lasted less than 3000km before it started blowing a lot of smoke. Ben had one on his car for about the same amount of kms before it completely blew so definitely be wary of those.
