I have looked this code up and its for the 24 Idle air control solenoid.

But I recently bought a another second hand one and the issue is still present. The engine light comes on sometimes when backing off at low RPM's like going through a round a bout etc. I have tried cleaning it but didn't seem to last to long before its started doing it again. Does anyone know if it could be another part that could be causing it or is it 100% that I probably got another dud IACV....

i would get similar on my old gen3, always when the car was due a service (great timing huh!) bit of upper engine cleaner seemed to deal with it.. Maybe something is just dirty

IACV code is from like 5 different things apparently. Idle valve, neutral position sensor and a couple of other things that i cant remember

Yep I get a similar code since my manual conversion.

Check the operation of the neural switch, as nick said there's a few other things that run through that circuit

I did come across that while seaches, But had totally forgotten about it. I will have to find out where that is located? I assume its one of the sensors that go in the gearbox?

Get someone with a Select Monitor to check it for you . You can see a host of things that will tell you what circuit is doing what . Is it stalling on decel ?  or hunting really bad coming up to the lights ? Maybe someone on here can point you to a decent Suby workshop or mechanic in Canberra ?

Neither stalling on decel nor hunting bad. Light just comes on when foot is off the acc. But goes away once revs hit idle, checked the code and searched the interwebs and thought it may have been the IACV and bought a 2nd hand one. But turns out its not that so will check out the neutral switch as I did come across this.
