Hi,
I gave it about five plays. Couldn't get into it. First bloke's flow just killed it for me.
Second bloke is pretty far out on timing, if you're going to bust over a quintessential west coast synth beat, you can't miss a gear. But he definitely has the best verse on the track.
Last bloke just doesn't even rhyme if you listen to it. Which is fine, he hits the beat better than the other two, but I'd like to hear some rhymes.
The hook is pretty good.
I'm listening to it again now.

i was only 12 then and just starting to get into hip hop. prior to that it was all 80's stadium rock, guns n roses, def leppard, aerosmith, metallica etc. i was more into tribe and de la to start then via zulu nation, rakim and krs.

Hi,
I remember seeing De La at a small club in Perth, there can't have been more than 200 people in there, and most people left after the first few songs. Ended up pretty much sitting on the stage, loving every second of it.
To their credit they still played an entire show, and were still trying really hard for those that stayed around.
And people have always wondered why good acts skip Perth in their tour dates....
