[LPM_B4]

Hi Guys

 

My parents 2001 outback headunit has stopped playing CDs and can only get the radio. i removed my stock headunit out of my GT when i put my single din in to use my ipod and I'm fitting it into there car because I'm a good son.

 

a few questions 

I've found that for the aerial i will need an adaptor of some sort. Being a electrical noob that i am I'm not sure what i should be searching for at jaycar, supercheap etc

and this is the port for the plug into the forester headunit

i assume it will be a two plug into a single plug of some sort?

 

Apart form that plugging the standard loom plug into the forester headunit operates the 6 stacker and cd function and the radio works bar no reception. 

 

i was a little confused as there was a port for a plug which the outback didn't have a loom plug for, but it all worked fine   not that I'm complaining

Red is the one with no loom plug, blue is the standard plug?

If anyone can point me in the direction of the name of the aerial adaptor i would need that would be great.

We sell those adaptors at work as far as I know, I can't remember what they're called. It's just a pretty universal adaptor I think. I'm going in later, I'll have a look and let you know.
