I worked in motor claims at Allianz for a bit over a year. AAMI can be difficult to deal with and whose at fault makes a big difference with them.

AAMI have a reputation as being a bit dodgy, look at companies like GIO, NRMA or Shannon's. I'd avoid insurers like budget direct and just car, just car are just another part of AAMI.

Read your PDS under the car value section and see what it says about the car values there

The remote is separate to the key, remote doesn't work to well can be a bit off at times.
