I reckon Gen 3's back looks great, if it has a spoiler. I see GXes around without a spoiler and they seem a little strange, but with a spoiler they look much much better.

That's a great guide there, Morgan. Definitely going to give it a shot when I get my Liberty back next week.

Yeah, one of those GTs caught my eye. I think 15k would be pushing it though, unfortunately.

Oh, and the one I found was also auto. Unless the autos are exceptional i'd much prefer manual.

WA's range of cars for sale is pretty weak, unfortunately.

Yesterday I had my Gen3 GX Liberty stolen right from out of my driveway. Massively pissed off, but fortunately i'm insured.

Since the odds of it being found and returned are quite slim, i've been thinking that when insurance pays out I may 'upgrade' to a B4, ever since I discovered it existed it has nagged at me that I really want one.
I really loved my GX Liberty apart from the fact it lacked in the power department. One of the previous owners had put some obnoxious STI stickers that covered half the windscreen, and 17" alloys that you'd find on a 06-07 WRX (i think) and an aftermarket spoiler to sikk it up.



My budget would be around 10k at best. Browsing around, i've found a few examples for ~10k that seem reasonable, and even one for 8k, although the listing is poor. Would I be able to get a good specimen for about that price? Is there a wiser option?


Any info at all would be awesome.
