Easy man, just cut the metal pipe joiner between the banjos and grind them back a bit so you don't have sharp edges, done it plenty of times. Safety first!

You've given me confidence! Haha. Thanks guys, too easy!

What turbo do you currently have?
Should be able to swap over the pipes.

I have a vf23 fitted to my car. Havnt looked at the coolant pipes on it yet. But I have a vf35 in my garage and those don't fit.. Unless I cut off joiner in between the pipes.... Suppose that shouldn't affect anything ay?? It was just the space in between them that's the problem, the hole size is the same

Only JDM V7 STI Spec-C/RA/S202 had the VF34.
JDM V7 STI - VF30.
AUDM V7 STI - VF35.
Why do you need a VIN?

In Topic: 2008 Subaru Impreza transfer whine sending me around the twist

I have that same noise in the wrx that I just bought. Thankfully I work next to Subaru service centre. They think it's a chipped tooth in the transfer case... And they told me I just need to take the gearbox out, then the transfer case bolts off from the back of it. Apparently it's easy to take apart and change the gears in there. Think u can get gear repair sets from Subaru.

Once I finish the engine work on mine I'll be dropping the gearbox out and trying it. If you think you're able to take the gearbox out yourself then I wouldn't bother buying any reco parts because it'll cost a lot more than taking it apart yourself.
