CEL codes help

Hey there,
I recently have been getting the CEL turn on and off muliple times when driving lately, and diagnosed the problems to be 12 (starter switch), 22(knock sensor) and 24 (Idle air control sensor). Has anybody had any experience with these codes and how they corrected it? Car runs fine, however it does take a while to turn the car on, possibly relating to code 12. My car's an 04 Impreza RS.

Rally/Dirt Driving

Lads,
For some reason after watching a disturbing amount of WRC races on Youtube, i thought i would give it a go to see how a Subaru would handle. So just wondering if anyone knows any streets/roads/sections of roads that are dirt/gravel etc, around the Sydney region?
Also would anyone recommend what i should do to protect the paint if i do go?

Exhaust query

Gents,
I got a mechanic to install my borla headers the other week expecting to hear a rumble even with a stock exhaust, however the sound is very faint. To make it 'louder' would i just want to change the muffler or get a catback system?
